On the fourth Saturday of every month, single adults from the GHBC SinglesReachingSingles ministry make the commitment to help serve the homeless at the Austin Soup Kitchen. We serve a hot meal to many an individual in need. But maybe more important than that, we make ourselves available through servant-leadership to share a small part of our lives with someone who maybe have never had a life-changing encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ. We experience some great fellowship among ourselves and open our lives to those who may not realize that getting a blessing is as much as anything else about being one to someone in need.
